Cofagrigus (Tutankhamun)

I show you today Cofagrigus, the 5G sarcophagus Pokémon. A creature that I really like and with a very atypical design and concept. In popular culture, sarcophagi are said to haunt the people who discovered them and disturbed their eternal sleep... The most famous sarcophagus is that of the young pharaoh Tutankhamun. Due to its gold and blue colors, and its French name (Tutankafer), it is quite clear that Cofagrigus is greatly inspired by the famous pharaoh who died at the age of 19.

Concerning the composition of my art, I wanted to show a dynamic of movement where Cofagrigus jumps on us to make us reach the kingdom of the dead... Dynamic reinforced by taking his hands out of the frame, ready to catch us! I invite you to also look at the detail of the hieroglyphs on the walls of the ruins, with some references (some of them writen in french btw)
