Hisuian Arcanine (Komainu)

Discover my new PokéUkiyoe illustration series, a series that represents Pokémon in traditional japanese style !
For those who don't know it yet, the design of Hisuian Growlithe and Arcanine are inspired by komainu 狛犬 (literally "guard dog", as a guardian i mean). These are stone statues in the shape of a lion/dog that can be seen at the entrance to many temples and shrines in Japan but also in the rest of Asia. This explains why this family obtains the rock type!
I represented in the background the volcano of the Cobalt Coastlands, which we have in the game Legends Arceus.
