Red Oni 赤鬼

New concept: I draw faces of Yokai and other Japanese folk creatures, with a traditionnal japanese tattoo style. Depending of the direction you are looking, you can guess two different yokai faces!

We have today the red oni 赤鬼, the most iconic kind of oni. Oni 鬼 is a kind of yōkai, demon, orc, ogre, or troll in Japanese folklore. Oni are mostly known for their fierce and evil nature manifested in their propensity for murder and cannibalism.
