New concept: I draw faces of Yokai and other Japanese folk creatures, with a traditionnal japanese tattoo style. Depending of the direction you are looking, you can guess two different yokai faces!
The Futakuchi-onna 二口女 is a famous yokai. Her name literally means "woman with two mouths". The legend is a little more complex than that but I will make a summary. A man once accidentally injured his wife on the back of the neck, leaving an open wound. The wound became a mouth, with the skin forming the lips and the bones of the skull forming the teeth. To soothe the woman's pain, food had to be inserted into this second mouth. Pretty glaucous I want to believe you! Then, I imagined in the other direction its male version the Futakuchi-otoko!
